Trisha Krishnan, best known by her screen name Trisha, is a South Indian film actress and model. She began her career as a model and rose to popularity before transitioning to acting after appearing in an uncredited role in the Tamil film Jodi in 1999. Trisha has starred in over 65 films since then, spanning the country's major film industries.
Ghilli (2004), Else Something Unnakum Ennakum (2006), Abhiyum Naanum (2008), the romantic drama Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), and the Malayalam comedy-drama Hey Jude are among the actress's most memorable performances (2018). Trisha has also won two Filmfare Awards (South) for Best Actress, as well as a Special Mention at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 2008 for her performance in Abhiyum Naanum.
